It's Steph's league now. The baton has been passed. After Jordan retired, the NBA was Shaq's league for a little while. Once he declined, the torch was shared between Dirk, Duncan, Nash, Kobe, Wade, Garnett, etc., etc. Then it became LeBron's league. Now we're witnessing the sunset of the LeBron era and the beginning of the Curry era.

Duncan said he wasn't going to do a Kobe-Style retirement.

Does anyone think this is it? He's really struggling...Kanter is giving him all kinds of trouble.

He has another year left on his contract, so I suspect he returns for one final season. Same thing with Ginobili.

Wouldn't surprise me if Popovich leaves with them after next season.

Oh that's right...and doesn't he need the money due to some sort of scam?

Yes and no. He had an issue with a financial adviser that cost him something like $25 million. He's also divorced, which probably cost him more than that.

He's made north of $200 million in his career, though, and doesn't come across as a guy who has pissed it away making it rain at the Spearmint Rhino. I suspect he's fine, but not as rich as he could be. (And not walk-away-from-millions rich.)

That's when they sign Westbrook and Durant and this becomes a 25 year run.

It's funny -- they really could. They could add Durant this offseason without much difficulty, or could do both next season without losing much.

I really think they Durant signs a one year deal and they both go somewhere in 17

If that's the case, the Lakers are the runaway favorites.

Yeah, that's probably the most likely scenario -- Durant re-signs with a player option after one season and they bolt after next year.

I'll be curious to see if the Lakers are still a big free agent draw. I suspect they will be. If they land DeMar DeRozan this summer it probably complicates a Durant/Westbrook combo for L.A. in '17.

All right, yep, I did see that -- Curry's mom celebrating by falling into the lap of a young guy who had his arm around her waist.

Daughter even addressed it on Twitter:

Timeout: y'all gotta chill, my father is 2 seats away from her lol
