Tony Romo would save the state.

Pfffft, he'd fumble away the FREEEEEEDOM gained by the Republic of Texas at a crucial juncture. Then Jerry! would blame it on Jason Garrett.

I guess we won't be seeing a lot more articles bemoaning the fact that we don't have John Stewart around this election cycle:

You'd lose out on a metric shit-ton of fantastic beers (Hill Farmstead, Alchemist, Lawson's Finest, etc.)

Only about 5 barrels of those beers make it outside of the greater Waterbury area, let alone the state, so we wouldn't be losing out on much.

Good point. But to trade/ship would mean international rates :)

Tis a beautiful area, though. Want to get back up that way soon.

What the heck is going on in France? Conservatives are opposing the socialist government's attempt to liberalize work rules.

Vermont can do whatever it wants, as long as Michigan promises not to secede so we can all still drink Founders.

He's more or less right about Hilary's comportment and campaign personality.

Of course, Jon Stewart doesnt live in a real world when it comes to politics. He lives in a snarky, smug utopia where somehow everybody cool would teach every uncool person how to be cool, and they would be cool, and then it'd be a cool world where everybody got the right shit.

When Stewart was in a position to go after Tom Cruise, who has personally benefited from something close to slave labor, Stewart mostly punted. Why? Because the blowback from a lot of people in his circle of friends might have been fierce. That was Stewart's political moment. Not any of the rest of it.

True, but I would secede with the state!

When Vermont leaves the union, coupled with the wall that Canada is going to build and make the U.S. pay for after Trump takes office, the price of maple syrup is going to skyrocket.
