Right, because threatening to kill the President is just free speech and he really is that bad a President, right?

Say what you want about the Dems, they never threatened to shut down the Gov. during a time of war.

Of course he was desperate for federal money after half of Jersey was blown away and spent the next four years trying to scrub off the ObamaCooties, but for one brief moment a prominent Republican treated him like a legitimate president. Cost him any chance at the White House too, and now he's gone mad and sold his soul to a fascist charlatan.

And I was really hoping Christie would win. I would have had a nice career as a celebrity impersonator.
Now I have no reason to not lose weight.

Get the fuck over this "Can you believe they opposed him?" nonsense. Democrats and Republicans have opposed presidents from the opposite party as long as there's been an opposite party. And presidents, to the degree that they have workable margins in Congress, have blown off the minority just as frequently.

If it seems this opposition is more strident now than it was then, that's only because today's Democrats are lefty-er and today's Republicans are righty-er than ever (the presumed presidential nominee not withstanding).
