    Badly misrepresenting the point of view of Democrats is a favorite tactic of Fart, Tony, YF and a few others. It is fair to question if they are lying or simply don't know any better, but they consistently get it wrong.

    To be fair, there are also some posters who do the same to Republicans.

    The sticking point has always been at what precise point life begins.
    SmallPotatoes is parroting the talking points of his leaders.

    OOP, the biggest most unobservant moron on the forum, I find myself asking the same question every time you barge into my conversations: What da fuck are you talking about?
    I get you don't like me. I've manifestly made it obvious I don't care. Be as snarky as you like but for FUCK's sake do try to be coherent.

    It seemed pretty coherent to me. Whether I agree or not.

    Perhaps I'm giving him too much credit in assuming he actually understood my post, but it sounded to me like I simply hit too close to the mark for his comfort, thus leading to the angry, lame personal attack.

    It really is one of the more annoying tactics that make such a mess of political discussions on this board. Once you identify a post in which the member of one party tries to pin some behavior on all members of the other party, it is quite safe to assume that the contents of the post will be utter bullshit. YF, Tony and fart boy just do it more often than most.

    Yeah, he was more of a narcissistic asshole than any previous president.

    Maybe someone should explain to you how it works. One side or the other doesn't "shut down" the government. The government gets "shut down" when it no longer has the funds to operate. Those weren't Republicans who ordered the memorials closed. That was your narcissistic asshole hero who did that.

    Also, what "backlash"? I'd love to see more "backlash" like the 2014 elections.

    Alma, why don't you enunciate for the class what the Kenyan's view on abortion is?

    You mean the 2014 Senate election in which more Americans voted for Democratic candidates than Republican ones?

    Senate Democrats got 20 million more votes than Senate Republicans. Which means basically nothing.

    And you're ignoring the fact that Republicans had never had a problem raising the debt ceiling under any other president until the current one. I wonder why that was?

    "Narcissistic" = "uppity."

    Why, he acts like he's such hot shit. He even acts like he's president of the United States or something. Uppity, uppity, uppity.

    I'm sure it's just a technical thing that you haven't noted that vis-a-vis all those "the Republicans love/like/support Trump" type of posts ...
