    I have no idea?

Is that possible? Doesn't the constitution say the House must immediately vote?

What happens if they don't vote?

Gotta be a quorum of two-thirds. Until such a time as President is picked, the Vice President acts as President ... and in that scenario, the Senate would choose a Vice President. But a two-thirds quorum would be necessary there, too.

At least that's how I think it's supposed to work.

No it's not. It's "Scoreboard!!!" insipidness. It's beneath you.

Exactly. And the Obama administration conduct of our military involvement has demonstrated far more concern for the lives of our service men and women.

12th amendment says quorum is 2/3 of the states. It says the VP (I'm guessing this means the new VP, who is chosen separately from prez and by the Senate) serves as acting president until House gets it together and votes on president.

You'll be happy to know the presumptive First Gentleman is on that list too.

And if the senate isn't participating either or if someone philibusters, you go down the order of succession.

    Hello acting president Paul Ryan

That'd be one hell of a long con.

    Dick Whitman would be proud.

GOP-controlled state delegations, which comprise the majority of states, would suddenly vote NeverTrump in a contingent election, with Romney emerging as the GOP's savior? One of the most idiotic things I've read here.

It definitely assumes a stronger #NeverTrump movement than is now apparent.

But, I don't see any other option that has any chance of doing anything but hand the election to Hillary.

This gives them a chance. It removes Cleetus Cornpicker from the equation.

If Romney and the #NeverTrumpers can't win in the House, they don't deserve to win.

A number of our conservative friends apparently remain stuck in the denial phase.
