Yeah, that's kinda been lost in the shuffle. Odd guy to be out there serving justice ...

About 2 percent of the people in the world can throw that punch, much less land it. Odor obviously knows how to fight. Bautista wanted no part of that.

Odor didn't run behind his teammates. He continued after Bautista. Beltre got in and dragged Bautista away with Odor still swinging.

Dive into a guy's legs like that, especially after it's been outlawed and you have a history of dirty slides that have already cost your team one game, and that's the response you'll get.

Bautista didn't want any of that three years of gen pop. That's why he went straight to first base after getting drilled.

Bautista should be happy that Bush only drilled him in the ribs and didn't run over his head with his car

For a bat flip? I understand getting drilled for a dirty slide but the bat flip the win a series? How many have done that in the over 100 yrs of MLB history?

    Ridiculous.

Did the Mick get drilled his next AB?

As for Odor, as much as I want to root for JB, I'm for Odor this time. As a 2B, I get it. That was a serious punch too because many have broken their wrists because they did not know how to punch. As for JB, credit for a strong chin.

That's the response you'll get? That's a joke. That play has happened for 120 years at all levels, spikes were down and Odor was not touched.

Odor was backpedalling fast when Donaldson was coming at him.

The dumbest thing about this was the Texas fans chanting "USA, USA, USA" following a fight between a Venezuelan and a Dominican.

He was being pushed back by his teammates, and he also threw a punch at Donaldson. Yours is a fanboi take.

Let me just note that the whole thing's ridiculous. Bautista hams it up (ridiculously so, IMO) after a huge homer ... so OF COURSE a just-called-up reliever from the other team throws at him several months later ... so OF COURSE Bautista decides to take his revenge by going bad-ass with the second baseman two batters later.

All went according to long-standing form, with the exception of the second baseman showing he's got quicker fists than Bautista ever dreamed.

    Bullshit it is.

My original post on this thread was that I had no problem with what any of the players did. My biggest problem was with the umps but spare me the Odor tough guy horseshit.
