Looks like John Gibbons got three for returning to the field after being ejected. Bautista might get a couple and I suspect those who were ejected might get some time off.

At this point of the season it's kind of nice to give a middle infielder a week off. Keeps him fresh for the fight.

Chavez and maybe Pillar are the Jays that deserve suspensions.

It's a shame Gibbons wasn't suspended for the year.

    What'd he do?

Re-entered the field after getting ejected before the ruckus started.

Both of those dudes probably will at least get fines for the way they barreled into the mass of people with arms flailing. Will be surprised if they aren't given at least one.

Chavez got three. Zero, apparently, for Donaldson and Pillar.

EDIT: One for Bautista. Three for Gibbons.

The one game to Bautista is ridiculous. If Odor doesn't clock him is he suspended for the slide?

If you are giving it to him because he was retaliating for being hit shouldn't Bush be suspended?

Bautista got it for the slide and subsequently confronting Odor. Yes MLB probably saw it as retaliation for the pitch which probably pushed them over the edge for a suspension. I have zero problem with one game. More than one game would have been harsh.

Should Bush have been suspended? Probably. It's obvious why he did it but he might get the benefit of the doubt from MLB because it was the first act and it wasn't an escalation of anything. I would have given him one game but am not bothered that he didn't get one.

Eh, he hasn't played more than 155 games since 2010. It's a day off.

If no punch is thrown there are no suspensions.

When was the last suspension for a hard slide?

It's the easy way out to give him one.

It wasn't the hard slide. It wasn't the confrontation. It was a combination of both on top of the fact he slide way later than what is legal (now) after getting plunked by a pitch. One game isn't horrible and they came down harder on the guy who threw the punch.
