OK, here's what happened in Nevada.

They hold caucuses. Clinton comes out ahead something like 20-15 on projected delegate count. But there's actually a three-level process, whereby the caucuses elect delegates to county-level conventions, which elect delegates to state conventions, which elect official delegates.

At the second level, not enough Clinton delegates showed up and it appeared that Sanders' supporters were able to vote in two extra delegates, projecting an 18-17 Clinton advantage.

The Rules Committee of the state democratic convention (made up equally of Sanders and Clinton supporters) hashed out a set of rules for the convention that included some provisions that would effectively restore the delegates to 20-15. A contingent of Sanders supporters tried to circulate petitions to get those rules amended at the convention.

Short version what happens next at state convention: Lots of people trying to rules lawyer, Clinton's side does it better, retains 20-15 split, Sanders side goes ballistic.

Long version: Clinton charters buses to make sure all their delegates make it this time, Sanders has some problems. Clinton has more this time around. A small number (but enough to flip the narrow majority) of Sanders delegates are denied admission by the credentialing committee (also equal Sanders and Clinton supporters), and the reasons differ depend8ing on who you ask. At least one admitted on the internet that he had withdrawn from the Democratic Party in recent weeks and didn't realize you had to be an active member of the party to participate. Others allegedly didn't have the right paperwork filed, which they deny and the officials assert was because they were alternates for no-shows that Sanders didn't file the right paperwork for.

So now it's time to adopt the rules for the convention. If they are adopted as written by the rules committee, they only require a majority vote. If they are changed in any way, they require a 2/3rds vote. The motion to adopt the rules as written is ruled passed by the chair via voice vote. Sanders supporters post lots of videos recorded from in the middle of his group of supporters claiming the "nays" were overwhelming. The internet goes ballistic, not realizing that those videos are taken *right in the middle of a large group of people yelling 'nay' and may not be representative of the whole group. Given that Clinton supporters had a narrow majority, it almost certainly was set to pass, but a voice vote wouldn't normally be appropriate for something that close. The chair was essentially using it as a "seriously guys, let it go, let's move on" device.

At that point, things pretty much fall out of control. People yelling over one another, lots of rules lawyering argue about whether motions from the floor had to be considered at that time or not, Sanders' people telling everyone to just stay until the Clinton supporters go home and declare quorum to reverse all this, someone either threw a chair or picked one up and threatened to throw it depending on who you ask. The chair starts blasting through all the actual shit they needed to get done at the convention then declares the convention closed. Sanders people still refuse to leave. Police calls are threatened (or maybe the police actually did show up? Can't remember).
