Sanders has nothing to lose. He will not run for the job again. I don't blame him for taking it to the convention and maybe he gets lucky.

But if Trump becomes president, Sanders will be one of the great punch bowl turds in American political history.

Sanders will die mysteriously before the convention.

LOL ... Yeah, in such a scenario it'd be absurd to assess primary blame to the person Trump actually ran against.

"But For Bernie" ... I can see the bumper stickers now.

No poll, not a single poll, matters in May. Never, never, never. Late August? September? Maybe. Polls before then are useless other than giving cable news something to fill airtime. And Twitter.

The real thing is this: It isn't so much what Sanders does, it's what his supporters do. He can eventually back Hillary, but it won't matter if a great majority of his supporters refuse to.

No one bit the last time.

Is the Jones Act anything but protectionism? Should it be scrapped?

Fuckin' free-marketers ... there are people's jobs at stake here. Who cares if the only reason those jobs exist is a law that makes everyone else subsidize them? What about the communities? Costco showed us that it can be done! And what about all these brands of deodorant?
