Both of these quotes are from A. B. Culvahouse, Jr. in 2008, as he vetted VP candidates for John McCain. His scrutiny yielded Sarah Palin as McCain's running mate.


Trump has hired Culvahouse to advise him on his VP selection.

The Donald storms into the room. He is looking very angry, and he is cursing out loud.

The Donald flings Ivana down onto the bed. Then he pins back her arms and grabs her by the hair. The Donald starts ripping out Ivana's hair by the handful, as if he is trying to make her feel the same kind of pain that he is feeling.

My point was that (assuming either account was true) both did the "Stand By Your Man" thing instead of blowing him up when politically vulnerable.
