    No & no. Free agency won't allow for it.

    The Yankees made a big deal a few years ago out of their "Core Four," but even that wasn't continuous. Pettitte left for a few years and went to Houston.

    10 years is pretty steep, but the Giants could get close. Belt and Crawford are in the first year of six-year contracts, and Panik and Duffy are still pre-arbitration. They're in their second year as a starting unit and all are under 30.

    Watching that, I'm wondering ... does Al Michaels do anything at all any more other than Sunday Night Football?

    I don't think so, but Al's age (older than me!) that's plenty, Besides what else does NBC have he can do. The French Open? NASCAR? The Belmont? (Actually, he'd be great there).
