If it didn't happen within 60 days, the FBI was going to revolt. I think that was November.

Here's the thing: Nobody outside the people who stand to directly benefit from this "scandal," which is to say the faux outrage machine on the right and the media members who want this to be a big story, actually gives a fuck about e-mails. Normal Americans just don't care about it. Ask yourselves, what actual damage did this cause? Were people hurt or killed? Did some giant state secret get in the hands of our enemies?

You might as well dredge up Whitewater, or have another Benghazi! hearing. It will have a similar net effect on the election.

Good God, cranberry ... Do you honestly think that if there had been a breach that it would be known?

We have no idea what damage was done as a result of Hillary's private server.

We do now know that there were hacking attacks against it -- and they responded by turning it off for a bit, and turning it back on.

    That reassures me.

It would manifest itself in some tangible way that demonstrates damage to the country's interests. Until that happens, people rightly will continue to not give a fuck.

Wouldn't a private server be more secure because markets than a server run by the dumb-dumb idiot $1,000 hammer government shit-for-brain commies?

What's Jeet Heer's angle here? Where does he stand to benefit?
