This is no concession speech from Sanders.

Bernie's just throwing a few final scraps of red meat to his supporters. He and Hillary will have their come-to-Jesus meeting in a few days.

Does Hillary consider him for veep? I don't think so, unless the Democrats are badly fractured.

Well, she did it. She made history.

Clinton will be the first presidential nominee ever to run while being under investigation by the FBI. Way to go!

Doesn't Clinton need to give Bernie whatever he wants at this point?

If he runs independent, Trump wins. Seems like Bernie's in a pretty powerful position to ask for, and get, what he wants to unify the party.

We can’t answer whether they still would if he ran as an independent (as I say, no polls), but we can look at what they’ve said about backing Clinton.

Let’s use YouGov’s most recent poll for the Economist, published a fortnight ago.

The poll comes out monthly, and its 2016 polls show a clear trend. Only half of Sanders’ supporters would back Clinton in a general election against Trump.

That’s down from nearly two-thirds just six weeks ago.

How will Sanders affect a Trump v Clinton general election?

Where does Bernie find all the money to get on the ballots, including suing to get on Texas and North Carolina?
