But, let's look at the USA Today article a bit.

In more than half of the cases, Trump was the plaintiff, so it's really disingenuous to say he's been sued 3,500 times.

Our project found about 3,500 legal actions involving Trump, including 1,900 where he or his companies were a plaintiff and about 1,300 in which he was the defendant. Due to his branding value, Trump is determined to defend his name and reputation.

Did he settle "a lot" of them. Hard to say. USA says "at least 100". Oh! So, he had to settle with folks he screwed over in business deals?

Nope. Slip and fall, and construction accidents. Not a lot for a guy who owns, develops, and manages so many properties.

And despite his boasts on the campaign trail that he “never” settles lawsuits, for fear of encouraging more, he and his businesses have settled with plaintiffs in at least 100 cases reviewed by USA TODAY. Most involve people who say they were physically injured at Trump properties, with settlements that range as high as hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Still, that's a lot of suits in just a few years, right?

Nope. We're talking about a period of over 30 years:

An exclusive USA TODAY analysis of legal filings across the United States finds that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and his businesses have been involved in at least 3,500 legal actions in federal and state courts during the past three decades.

Still, for a guy who simply develops properties, that's a lot, right?

Nope. We're talking about a 500 different business entities:

USA TODAY NETWORK journalists identified about 3,500 state and federal court cases involving Donald Trump and the more than 500 companies on his federal financial disclosure report and previous holdings.

So, in total, we're looking at guy, who over 30 years, has lost 38 law suits, and settled some slip and fall suits.

I think we might need the Times to look into any traffic tickets his wife may have gotten.

    LOL

38 lawsuits over 30 years is an average of more than one lawsuit lost per year.

And yet, you still think Hillary Clinton is unfit because her husband had one settlement with a woman for sexual harassment.

Oh, my assumption for settling the case comes from estimates that 80-92 percent of lawsuits are settled.

How many buildings have Bill & Hillary owned, managed, or developed in the last 30 years?

    This is a joke.

How many times do you think other big property owners/developers get sued in a year?

Someone slips on the sidewalk, and it's a lawsuit.

"At least 100 cases". Their own stats show 175.

So, at least 75 may not be injury related. Or, even if you want to say that more than 100, but less than 175 were injury related, have at it. Let's say 80- percent are injury related. Meaning 35 of them were not.

35 settlements, plus another 38 losses is 73 court losses over 30 years. More than twice a year, he's lost in court or settled for something that his companies have done wrong.

Do you know anything about business? Anything?

    500 entities. 30 years.

Lost 38 cases. Settled some others, most involving injuries on his properties.

That's quite different than the 3,500 lawsuits headline, isn't it?

Remember, any factual statement made by Dumpf must be presumed to be bullshit.
If he says his record is 450-38, a much better bet is 250-238. And 50-438 is probably even better.
