It's against the law in Uganda, with some very severe penalties. There was legislation that would have allowed for the death penalty, but it didn't pass.
It was Christians who pushed for the legislation, including some from the U.S.

None of those count. Guns are only allowed to be discussed when the shooter is a sane person with a defensible ideology.

You should try checking right wing sites anytime someone mentions any form of gun control, those posts won't be difficult to find.

Yeah, and when some whack job shoots fifty people in a theater in Colorado and has noting to do with Islam we're still not allowed to say that it might have something to do with high capacity weapons.

Even by Obama's standards, that press conference was a master class in purposeful ignorance.

Bullshit. The only substantive difference is that a military AR has a selector switch that allows three round burst and automatic fire. Given that he's quoting an Army manual on the effectiveness of aimed semiautomatic fire, it is a very valid comparison. Sure, some of the elite SpecOps guys have high end pieces in their AR's. So do many civilian gun guys,

    It's basically a direct comparison.

My example would be the totality of human history. No serious problem ever went away by ignoring it.

    Precisely.

Trump talks about being "tough." OK. So what will be done in the name of "toughness?"
