Ignoring the larger issue at play to get your political jollies is bullshit. The Daily News is a joke.

Curious: How much of A1 did you devote to this story, and how much inside?

Gun slaughter is the larger issue. Check the numbers.

The Daily News has taken an editorial position on a leading issue of this period in history. You may not agree with it, but it's an issue that must be discussed.

The DN is every other dipshit on social media in print form. In presenting this story -- which involves multiple hot-button issues -- what the DN did isn't even in the ballpark of professional journalism.

Professional journalism often brings an editorial point of view. Why would anyone not want an open discussion? Because you don't want a point of view you don't agree with?
