Obama personally looks at and green lights every targeted drone hit on an individual. That buck stops on his desk. He may not actually pull the trigger, but he has been ultimately responsible for the deaths of many bad actors. Any missile that misses the target and kills innocents, whether because of bad aim or bad intelligence, will be on his conscience as well. It's different from a sniper staring through a scope, but that has to be quite a burden to bear.

 

The collateral damage would be a burden but the 40,000 bad Islamic extremists has to
give him a bit of a boost to his step. Wouldn't criticize him if he played it up but have to give him credit for staying below the radar and not thumping his chest.
