Not just "one guy," but one guy who was under FBI surveillance at least twice for suspicious associations with other terrorists. All that's missing is the "Heck of a job, Comey."

    No. They are devout followers.

But, like everyone else, they're sinners. They fall short of their religion's requirements.

And, so they look to atone for their sins.

Islam is the problem. Not sure why we're so determined to think otherwise.

The problem is their are thousands of Muslim Americans with similar ties to extremists and/or who are followers of extremist ideology.

The FBI can't keep them all under constant surveillance. There are way too many of them.

    And, we keep importing more.

One thing getting overlooked in the debates/arguments over the myriad issues in this case is that law enforcement in this country has a LONG way to go to become an effective tool against terrorism. Assuming that's even possible.

Somebody at the club that night recognized the shooter from a gay hook-up app.

Can you blame liberals for the ignorance of supporting policies that put Americans' lives at risk if the choice is being a meanie?

In his defense, I think the coyness is on the part of USA Today and the way the forum software handles links.

Can someone remind me who first made the connection between the shooter and ISIS?

Oh, right. It was the shooter!

This guy takes the time to call 911 mid attack to pledge his allegiance to ISIS, and we want to question his motivation.

Maybe Isis was a bar patron he pined over. You don't know.
