FWIW, I agree that devout Muslims seem a little strange and scary to me.

As do devout Catholics, Mormons, Jews, Seventh-Day Adventists, Hindus, Baptists, Amish and Wiccans.

There are reports of an active shooter at a Walmart in Amarillo, Texas. No word yet on whether he is Sunni or Shi'ite.

OK, then tell me what's wrong with allowing God/Allah/etc be the judge. Which is what the father, and many others, believe.

ISIS has about as much to do with this as Jodie Foster did with the assassination attempt of Ronald Reagan.

He specifically said, "God will punish those involved in homosexuality."

I never said he was alone in thinking that - in fact, I believe I said the exact opposite. But he very clearly stated what he believes.

Who can forget all those times Jodie Foster encouraged her followers to assassinate the president?

Look, I don't know how YOU interpreted Nell, but it was pretty clear to me what she meant.

So? He also strongly condemned his son for what happened. There are many, many people in this country who believe God will be the judge.

Suppose there were only 10 hurdles along the way they had to clear to pull off their deal. Further suppose that at each gate, there was only an 80% chance they'd get caught. Their probability of pulling their deal off was therefore a mere 0.0000001024.
