Two narratives I'm tired of reading about on Twitter ...
1. The Warriors going for 73 has left them tired at the end of this series. Ridiculous. As already hashed out on this thread, the amount of days off has negated any of that.
2. The NBA suspending Draymond was part of a grand fix to extend this series. Draymond doesn't get suspended if the LeBron crotch (shot? swipe? tickle?) is a one-off incident. Dude couldn't stop going after twigs and berries, and the repeat offender status finally caught up to him.

Udonis Haslem got suspended for throwing his mouthguard a few years back, but he threw it directly at a referee. No way Steph gets the same treatment.

 

Interested to see how the pro-Jordan, anti-LeBron crowd reacts when either the Warriors cement a 73-9 season with a title or LeBron beats a 73-win team on the road for a title.

I suppose "Jordan never needed a Game 7" covers them either way.

 

ESPN threw up a Twitter stat last night about how LeBron has more 500-point playoff seasons than Jordan, which sounds wonderful except for the fact that Bron played in the era of four seven-game series, so he got more opportunities.

This series has had a million interesting subplots.
But the games have been shit.
