They were, but as I said, Jordan's best non-500 point playoff was 363 points. Since that change at best adds two games, it's not making up 138 points.

Curry dumps Ayesha within 12 months.

The hot/crazy matrix is tilting, not in a good way. Ain't nobody got time for that.

    It's also flat-out incorrect.

A cursory analysis of basketball-reference.com shows Jordan had eight 500-point playoff seasons, and LeBron has had six, including this one.

Not to belabor the point, but I don't know whose ass ESPN pulled those numbers from.

    500-point playoff seasons: Jordan 8, LeBron 6.
    600-point playoff seasons: Jordan 3, LeBron 2.
    700-point playoff seasons: Jordan 1, LeBron 0.

    Totals:
Jordan: 5,987 points in 179 games.
LeBron: 5,545 points in 198 games.

By no measure I can see are LeBron's playoff scoring numbers better than Jordan's. Not one.

Their arc from "They're so likable" to "They're so annoying" is pretty much on course.

I was going to say last night... Maybe it's just me, but man, this has been an unsatisfying series to follow, even with it tied at 3-3. Most of the games haven't been competitive, and if you don't have a rooting interest, then Green's nutpunching and LeBron's instigating has muddied the whole thing up.

Kobe had 3 playoff seasons of 600+ points
Bird had 2 600+ playoff seasons and averaged a career playoff double-double

Forget Jordan, is James better than Kobe?
