Maybe from the outside looking in but teammates seemed to relish playing with Magic and his attitude appeared infectious and almost inspirational. Jabbar seemed particularly motivated by a young Magic Bird's teammates were similarly inspired but without the outward emotional displays. Kobe James and even Jordan seemed to lack that connection.

As James' abilities wane, I wonder if his passive-aggression will be like Kobe's sociopath tendencies. Free agents will put up with that shit when things are good, but guys aren't going to deal with it when it doesn't come with a ticket to the Finals already punched.

I was more commenting on Kobe's general reputation is that of an unstoppable scorer even though LeBron is statistically better at that as well. Agree that LeBron's game is much more Magic.

Warriors have to embrace this opportunity, it's Gm 7 at home!! What's better? No hotel, no hostile unfamiliar gym, this is where they dominated everyone, including the Cavs all year. Forget refs, conspiracy, etc, it's about playing with max effort, max concentration, and out hustling the Cavs, things they can control. Do it.

It Warriors win, congrats to a great champion. If Cavs win, my all-time starting five needs an adjustment STAT.

Does that mean you drop Greg Kite and add LeBron?

Even if the Cavs lose, is LeBron the MVP?
It doesn't seem like anyone on the Warriors deserves it, unless Curry or Thompson just go off tonight.

Two hours before game time ... for those of us on the East Coast, we're going to be cutting things close to deadline.

Anyone come up with any good headline ideas for either side? I'm sure I'll be scrambling come 11:30.

Should've been last year, and wasn't so not sure they'd give it to him this year.

Yeah, that dominating 2-1 home record against the Cavs (1-1 in the Finals, a six-point win on Christmas Day) this season should leave Cleveland's players quivering.
