And I'd just like to state for the record that I have lots of friends, too. But no PMs from prominent posters.

That some followers of Islam don't follow every edict does not mean there is some mainstream interpretation of Islam that does not believe the Koran is not the literal Word of God.

Seriously, if there was such a belief, some Imam somewhere would make this argument.

The truth is, even "moderate" Imams will tell you that the Koran is the literal Word of God.

We've quoted them before. I can find plenty who agree with me. (Like the guy who said a good Muslim has to sit to take a piss.) Can you find one who doesn't agree with what I'm saying?

I'm glad it's clear to you, YF. How much Koran reading do you reckon he'd been doing?

I think it's more likely that he had Corian counter tops in his apartment

Seems to be a helluva lot of bad Muslims then. They must outweigh the good Christians by a wide margin.

I love it when people go full potato on religion. It may be my favorite full potato.

I love when people question every word from the "liberal media" but believe every word of a book that was written thousands of years ago, been translated and re-translated numerous times and none of the shit in it is verifiable in the slightest.

You should probably figure out who the God of the Old Testament was. You might learn that in your second-semester trade school World Religions class.
