Nuns don't dress like that anymore. And you never see young ones. They're doing a bit.

Strasburg (10-0) v. Kershaw (4-time Cy Young) tonight.

The Pirates' left field foul girl, who is gorgeous, just made a sweet barehand snag on a bad hop. Great play.

Pirates beat Giants 1-0 on a night when ...

    * Jeff Fucking Locke outduels Bumgarner and

    * the only run comes on a homer by a stiff who didn't have a hit in 15 at-bats this season

Steven Wright goes 9 more of unearned ball to lower his ERA to league best 2.01.

Red Sox loaded em in bottom-9 with no outs of a 1-1 game but don't score. Zack Duke was ballsy.

    Sox-Sox start free baseball.

And not only that, the homer was caught and dropped in left field. That game might still be going.

ESPN slows Giants-Bucs highlights ... shows 10 highlights of Bumgarner ... shows 0 highlights of Locke.

    Stupid.

So the Rockies beat the Marlins 5-3 last night and all 8 runs were scored on solo HRs.

Sure seems like the percentage of HRs that are solo shots seems markedly up to me. Maybe that's not the case, but I'd be curious if any of the statistical experts here on the site might be able to run the numbers to prove or disprove that.

Baseball's becoming a game of strikeouts and solo home runs.
