Here's something where Lewandowski's testimony could be useful.

If CHEETO JEESUS drops out of the race before Election Day, what if the Justice Department opens a criminal prosecution on the basis of election fraud, charging Dumpf never had any actual intention of really running for office, only to create a mechanism where he could "loan" his own campaign millions and grift/ embezzle that money back in repayment from the campaign and/or the GOP.

I don't think the timing of the firing was an oversight. Trump wanted to send the most emphatic and publicized message possible that he is rebooting. He had nothing to gain by putting out the trash.

 

Is that how you'd word it?

It'd be one thing for a cop to "disarm" a suspect. I've never heard an attempt to steal a cop's gun described this way before.

 

It certainly doesn't prove a trend, but lack of it disproves the idea of a trend.
