I'm a week behind on Veep so I'm watching last week's episode right now, but I notice two Chine Beach alumni -- Concetta Tomei and Troy Evans -- at the Christmas Ball. Nice.

 

Anyone watching Animal Kingdom on TNT? Pretty damn good so far.

 

Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction

Spoiler alert: It's fact.

 

New season OITNB dropped yesterday ... The review I read was lukewarm on the start of the season, but heaped tons of praise on the last two episodes (calling them the best of series)... I'm about five episodes in. I think its better than the review.
The backstories they've shown so far weren't that great, or very revealing. Healy's was Ok.

 

Finished it.
Not great, but solid.
Several episodes lost my interest, but overall enjoyable binge.

 

I was feeling let down as I got through episodes 2 - 6. I didn't care for a couple of the story lines, the characters' backstories weren't compelling, and Piper was more annoying than ever in these early episodes. I started sitting up at episode 7, then the rest of the season was amazing. I was torn between wanting to stop to digest some of the things I had seen and wanting to watch the next episode.

The later episodes weren't perfect, but I think the overall strength of the last half of the season may make this the best of the four seasons.

 

Piper has become one of my least favorite characters.

I did enjoy Lolly and Healey's backstory.

 

Anyone watch Ray Donovan? Just saw that it's about to start its fourth season, and I've been meaning to check it out since season 1 but haven't gotten to it. So, the question: Should I?

 

I don't think she's the first, though.
That little, tiny woman did it and made it all the way up the tower in a regional.

 

Big fan of that show. Give it a shot. Jon Voight is fantastic, and the whore from Deadwood is a main character!
