Completely different threat, and you know it.

Asking law enforcement agencies (intrastate, interstate and international) to do a better job of working together in the face of the threat doesn't seem to be too much to ask.

I suppose Mateen would be no different than your neighbor if your neighbor followed the radicalization playbook to the extent he was twice on LE's radar.

It's not freedom you're not ready to give up. It's ignorance.

How much time can Obama devote to this threat with the spectre of global warming looming?

The burqa -- like the collar, and the Mormon "garment," and the yarmulke, etc., etc. -- requires no defense. We don't roll that way 'round here.

But first let's ban pants that hang down past your ass. And hipster beards. And skinny jeans. And black crew socks with sandals.

Whatever the effectiveness of your blatant discriminatory treatments, they seem fine in abstract, but look around on the street, how is it going to play out in real life? All because of suspicion.

Thinking about the footage in the OJ 30/30, look at how blacks in LA were treated based on what at was suspicion, that's how you want to treat everyone of Muslim belief?

Yeah. Have to disagree. The burqa is a way of making women second class citizens.

And, please, let's not compare it to fashion choices.

If they're trying to move/visit/study here? Yes.

If they're citizens? No. But, let's also not ignore threats in order to be politically correct.

I won't argue we don't need to more closely scrutinize anyone who wants to come here. Maybe if we didn't funnel all of our money to the top/spend it on overseas wars we could spend it on things that matter.
