Second Amendment rights exercised in Orlando

A Muslim ban wouildn't have helped much at Fort Hood or Orlando.

 

It seems like there is a pretty easy workaround the Muslim ban:

"Are you Muslim? Check 'yes' or 'no.'"

"No."

 

They could just do like a lot of conservatives do and pretend they're Christian.

 

You wouldn't know a fact if it bit you on the ass.

 

Sorry, but the vast majority of gun deaths in America are from every-day life in liberal cities, not mass shootings. And that's where the gun control folks are really aiming.

 

RE: legislation, building on top of an already Constitutionally flawed construct makes no sense. It seems pretty obvious that the "no fly" list could be redesigned as a "no fly, no buy" list that would pass Constitutional muster if it had an adequate system to protect the due process rights of people on the list, including: notice that you're being placed on the list; reason(s) and basis for being placed on the list, and the ability to seek redress before a neutral arbiter.
