I think something needs to be done about all the young black hooligans shooting up the inner-cities. Congress should, by fiat, take away their right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, and their right to a trial.

 

I agree with your first point. Sounds so simple. I hope the second part is not directed at me. I've said no such thing.

I disagree that the fact that "something needs to change" justifies stripping innocent American citizens of their settled Constitutional right to bear arms.

 

I have said the same. I guess I just don't resonate. I disagree with the no fly ban. But I still think something needs to be done. I'd like to see a ban on high powered semi-auto rifles or at least high capacity magazines.

 

The Democrats gave up on the Constitution long ago.
