Who? Never mind. No matter which side you're referring to, you are correct.

As I said last week, fear drives this kind of irrationality.

I think something needs to be done about all the young black hooligans shooting up the inner-cities. Congress should, by fiat, take away their right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, and their right to a trial.

I agree with your first point. Sounds so simple. I hope the second part is not directed at me. I've said no such thing.

It's addressed to the people that "gobbling" it up that "something needs to be done."

Sigh. Again, so many people here know what others are thinking. You disagree that something needs to change?

I disagree that the fact that "something needs to change" justifies stripping innocent American citizens of their settled Constitutional right to bear arms.

I have said the same. I guess I just don't resonate. I disagree with the no fly ban. But I still think something needs to be done. I'd like to see a ban on high powered semi-auto rifles or at least high capacity magazines.

The Democrats gave up on the Constitution long ago.

Wrong as always, Sunshine. I'm simply commenting on the tony-level bias in Dickie's post. That, and I hoped to make him aware of the imbalance he is causing by no longer being without a dog in the fight.
