The birth of Fox News was a direct reaction to stories written the way the first story in YF's post was written. Had the mainstream media remained honest and objective, Fox News Channel never exists.

Studies have been done, and the "mainstream media" has always been personally politically liberal. The degree to which those personally held views have seeped into coverage is debatable.... But the fact is the media is liberal.
