To some it is better because doing so is a emotional outlet. To many of these people, Trump is cathartic. He is their miserable asshole, speaking for all of them jobbed people out there.

If the Founders had access to Internet porn, we'd have been voting in the Brexit referendum last week ... ;)

    Ok YF.

    Did some reading.

    Gave some thought.

    Here's what I got.

    1. She was never found to have broken a law or-- herself-- bent a rule.

    2. The trades were remarkable enough to raise eyebrows. Having that kind of success was very rare.

    3. Her brokers were investigated for wrongdoing. If-- and that's a big if-- they helped her by floating her-- she had no knowledge of it.

    4. A Nobel Prize winner/ Univ, of Chicago professor investigated and said there was no proof she did a damn thing wrong, and there was no proof she didn't.

    5. She ultimately quit what amounted to high stakes gambling because she said it was too stressful.

    6. There was some luck involved.

    7. Again. Because it warrants repeating-- she was not found to have broken any law or bent any rule. Sorry. You're just dead wrong on that one.

    8. This happened in the 1970s when the Clintons were broke and pretty much nobodys.

    9. Her brokers appear to have been shady characters. That's a fact.

    10. The reason she did it was to make money for her family. That's American, and you can't fault her for that. Think for a moment about what you might do for your family.

I will concede that using this incident as an example of her 'smarts' was perhaps not the best example for me to use.

Sums up this thread - and politics in general - pretty well:

Benghazi Report Shows the Internet Is Killing Objectivity

It is the beauty and the tragedy of the Internet age. As it becomes easier for anyone to build their own audience, it becomes harder for those audience members to separate fact from fiction from the gray area in between. As media consumers, we now have the freedom to self-select the truth that most closely resembles our existing beliefs, which makes our media habits fairly good indicators of our political beliefs.

Dr. Anne Stevens, the sister of Ambassador Chris Stevens:

"I do not blame Hillary Clinton or Leon Panetta. They were balancing security efforts at embassies and missions around the world. And their staffs were doing their best to provide what they could with the resources they had. The Benghazi Mission was understaffed. We know that now. But, again, Chris knew that. It wasn’t a secret to him. He decided to take the risk to go there. It is not something they did to him. It is something he took on himself."
