So your theory is that, had people known that the victims were predominantly Hispanic, they wouldn't have given a shit that 50 people were mowed down at a nightclub in Florida? That sounds reasonable.

The conflict on college campuses between gay and Hispanic groups was interesting to watch though.

The gay groups wanted exclusivity on victim status, barely acknowledging that the victims were also Hispanic, and the Hispanic groups didn't appreciate it.

 

If people don't care about people being killed ... then why do they care about gun control?

If a liberal doesn't think something is "needed", and it won't hurt any of their constituencies to tax or ban it, they're happy to regulate it as a way of shaping the world more to their liking.
