How many suicide bombings have liberals done in the last 15 years or so?

I think YF is trying to turn this thread into: "Explosions at SJ.com"

Were their no Muslims in the WTC on 9/11?

    That's not the point.

They see Turkey's government -- incredibly enough, considering how far they've changed already -- as far too liberal. If a few pious Muslims have to die in order to strike terror in a Western loving Muslim nation, then that's what it takes.

It's still all about building an Islamic Caliphate. There's no place for dissent.

So Turkey is too liberal. It's really all about the conservatives being the problem. Is that your point, YF?

In the real world where the sky is blue, ISIS attacks Turkey because Turkey is attacking it (sometimes) in Syria and supporting anti-ISIS Sunnis there. Of course, since it's the Middle East and all wars there must have at least seven sides, Turkey is also attacking the Kurds who're the most effective enemies of ISIS, and there have been Kurdish terrorist attacks (not as many) in Turkey, too.

Turkey makes an inviting target because it's a large country with hard-to-defend borders, and the government there has been secular, aggressively so until very recently, since around 1920. There have been similar attacks in Pakistan for much the same reasons.

We've seen what happens when "debate" is left solely to liberals.
