He actually looks a little like Scrooge McDuck. Pitiful.

 

This might be the least surprising thing about him. Never took him for anything more than a superficial, moneygrubbing blowhard.

 

He's given $2.8 million away this century.

 

Yeah, and?

 

Doesn't seem too miserly to me.

But aren't we all in agreement that Trump doesn't really have much liquidity? A lot of that "net worth" is tied up in his "brand." We can't have it both ways. This seems like a non-story to me. The guy's given $2.8 million to charity. That sounds like a lot to people. It is a lot.

 

Consider he says he's worth $10 billion. $2.8 million is roughly 1/4000th of what he's worth. If you make $50,000 a year, you've made $500,000 in the last decade. If you gave away 1/4000th of that, you'd have given away a whopping $125. So, yeah, he's a cheap fuck

 

Hope Brock seemed to imply that he gives away a lot of his money under the table. He doesn't want to seek the limelight.
