I'm with Clint on this one. I've enjoyed Pearlman's work and had a pleasant experience being interviewed by him. Found him a little neurotic, but nothing over the top.

That's EXACTLY what Jeff would say!

    Jeff is a good writer.

    Jeff is an amazing reporter.

I don't know him personally. Admire his work ethic.

Jeff is so chicken little about his politics I couldn't follow on social media anymore.

Some butthurt Republicans here are weird in their obsessions. Oh boo hoo, you trolled someone on social media and they didn't want to spend hours arguing with you. Just unfollow.

I wanted to read about SBB, but maybe an editor killed it. Or maybe Jeff killed it. His prerogative. That's a decision people get to make when it's their conscience/liability on the line.

    More than a little neurotic.

I've followed him on the socials for 3-4 years. He's OK, just another guy, who reports and writes, a lot ... but some days his mind is a hamster wheel on steroids and he doesn't know when to hop off.

And I don't think he cares about politics like he leads people to believe he does.

But in the grand scheme of things he's fine. Still haven't read one of his books. I'd probably give one a go if I stumbled upon it.

The guy can't take ANY disagreement, real or perceived. A very thin dermis. I think you could see his "veins through the skin like a faded tattoo."

He gets really fired up about poitics, I agree. And I would rather not read him on poitics, even though we share similar poitics. But it doesn't mean he does bad work.

Guy is obviously hard-working and productive. He's just such a petulant dick on Twitter.

The only times I thought he was extremely over the top was when he did a high school football game story last year and the endless promotion of the upcoming USFL book on Twitter. Guess who talked to such and such today? This guy. OK, we get it, you're doing a USFL book. Hopefully it turns out well but can we wait for the promoting of it until it is actually finished?

He's a funny character. Love having him around, on the sports and cultural landscape.

Over the years, you can't deny his contributions.

And I love to laugh at him.

    You aiight, Jeff.

Seems like an unfair criticism. Don't subscribe to his twitter feed if he is annoying you with his tweets.

Can't blame someone for promoting their work.
