    LOL.

The Republicans had other choices and went with Trump.

Dems weren't forced to nominate Clinton though. They still have time to dump her if they want to. Thankfully Dems have superdelegate stop handle a situation like this.

Are you advocating the Dems dump her to spare the nation a Trump presidency?

    It's obviously their patriotic duty.

The writer - who acknowledges that he's not a Hillary fan - says that he doesn't understand how Petraeus could be charged but not Hillary.

The answer is very simple: They didn't do the same thing.

Actually, Petraeus pled guilty to "unauthorized removal and retention of classified material."

What Clinton did is more than enough to warrant such a charge.

True. But if your kid knows that, what are the chances that he's going to invoke the "It was an accident!" defense when he's sure no one was looking?

I'm not up on the intricacies of the relevant law(s), but I suspect they're written so as to preclude one's simply saying, "Why, I had no idea this information would fall into that person's hands!"

Yes. That is certainly what he pled to.

Seems to me you're trying to have it both ways, DW. In matters regarding sexual assault, you're always quite clear in your emphasis on what was actually pled to or convicted of. If that's your standard of comparison, that should be the standard here as well.

Did Clinton intentionally keep information on an unsecured server ?

The question is why he was charged and she wouldn't be. The answer is that he was accused of doing something different than what she is accused of doing. He pled to something lesser, because that's how our justice system typically works in this country.

Certainly. But to my knowledge she is not accused of having intentionally given the information to an unauthorized person.

I kind of hope that she is charged and drops out. I'm ready to be done with the Clinton drama at this point.

So, Hillary didn't do enough to get charged with a felony.

If that's your only point, you're missing the forest for the trees.

Maybe it would open the door for Biden who I wished had run in the first place. He just seems like he would have been the right person for the times we are in.

My only point was that the writer of the piece YF linked to was disingenuous in saying he didn't understand how Petraeus could be charged but not Clinton. They are accused of doing different things. That's the answer.

Like I said, I hope she is charged.
