One other thing about religious Democrats. Just because they're religious doesn't mean they feel that they should impose their religious beliefs upon others. Awfully progressive of them.

 

It's not religious conviction that turns off Democrats/liberals/whatever.

It's parading religious behavior in front of the cameras to score cheap political points from the most gullible wing of the electorate -- in all parties. So maybe she's just avoiding that?

Or maybe she holds deep religious convictions, but also believes the Bible (or any religious text) is an irrelevant document when it comes to governing and legislating under the U.S. Constitution.

Actually, if we could ever get a mainstream candidate to admit that and win, it would be a major step forward for this nation.

Trump, on the other hand, has few virtues. If any at all.

 

I fully believe there are millions -- tens of millions -- religious Democrats. I wonder how they reconcile that with the obviously anti-religious stances of their party such as murdering babies.
