He's been laying low ever since the Dallas attack and his video response. Probably the smartest move he's made to date in the campaign.

 

He gave a 'law and order' speech today (yesterday) in Va.

 

It's been something of a blessed relief. You almost wonder if he had a lucid moment and realized shit is thisclose to burning down for real.

 

Never let a crisis go to waste.

Trump is going to try to capitalize on this.

 

Has there ever been a more idle promise, which I will admit has been used by pols of both parties, than that one? Since the entire TV news industry rests on finding and broadcasting events intended to scare old white people (THEIR audience) out of their wits so they'll stay home and watch more TV, it's a hopeless promise, too. The violent crime rate has been in a broad decline for 20 years and when this fact is pointed out to people in poll questions, they refuse to believe it.

 

Exactly how is Trump going to make America safe again?

 

Like polls about guns?

 

I haven't read all the way through, but is OT really trying to argue that there hasn't been any violence on the part of Trump supporters?

How are any of these politicians going to fulfill their campaign promises.
