Of course I'm not saying that.

Like anything else 90%-99% were not perverts, who were interested in young boys.

But, child predators seek out situations that will allow them to be in trusted positions around children. That's undeniable.

And, so, some do end up as teachers, coaches, priests, choir leaders, drama coaches, etc.

And, it's obvious when one has an unnatural interest in kids.

"Broad" is the only kind of brush YF has. I think most reasonable people know that not "everyone" knew, although there were likely a large number of people who did know and turned a blind eye.

Everyone in a position to do something knew.

    Everyone else had heard rumors.

It's a big college town, with many diverse interests.
You're convicting "everyone" simply because you want to.

    Yeah, ok.

You think Joe Paterno, Greg Schiano, Tom Bradley, Joe Sarra, Kevin O'Dea, or Jim Tarman let their kids go over to Jerry's house to play? Did their kids go on overnight trips, or share a hotel room with Jerry?

And, you don't think they warned their close friends and neighbors to not let their kids alone with Jerry? Of course they did.

And, when other colleges inquired about potentially hiring Jerry as their head coach, and they poked around a little, they heard the rumors and moved on.

Word gets around town. And, it did with Denny Hastert too.

So what do we call the 30 for 30 on this? The Secret Lives of Peds?

The wifull ignorance is stunning here.

YF is right. People are not dumb and neither are kids. I am beginning to think Paterno was a boy fucker as well and that is why he implicitly condoned this.

You may or may not be joking, but the thought crossed my mind. What if Paterno's kids are so vocal about pushing back because one or more has some really repressed memories they aren't equipped to revisit?

Scott in particular exudes a very weird vibe.

Blame the human brain. Without it's remarkable ability to deny and rationalize practically any situation, the world would be filled with about 7 billion insane people right now.
