Underwhelming slate of speakers, to say the least. All four of Trump's kids. Natalie Gulbis. Some gay republican who didn't pay Da Man.

I'm looking forward to watching this for its unintended humor.

 

Is that real? If so, it's ugly, irresponsible, unprofessional and juvenile.

 

An empty chair isn't running for re-election this time.

 

This place has gotten to me. When I heard Tebow was going to speak at the convention, my first thought was "Trump has no worries about his daughter."

 

Mike Pence will help lock up Indiana, the anti-LGBT vote, the anti-immigration vote and the old, angry white guy vote.

Because Trump was in trouble with all of those.

 

And Indiana's a swing state to boot.

 

Veepstakes speculation is always interesting. If Pence is the guy and noon Thursday is indeed his deadline for withdrawing from re-election consideration, the pick will almost certainly leak tonight.
There's reason to wonder if Newt is out. One night of the preliminary, subject-to-change docket at the convention has a speaking slot for Newt and a second slot for VP.
That sked is unofficial.

 

While I sincerely doubt this would happen, imagine the reaction if Pence withdrew his governor's bid, only to have Trump change his mind and pick someone else?

 

Pence has that good Republican part in his hair.

I am not believing squat until the VP choice comes out of The Don's mouth, recorded on live TV. Not even going to believe a tweet, which could be hacked (and may have been hacked all along. I wouldn't be surprised by some behind the scenes Wizard of Oz BS.).
