Just so it's clear what the Trump cheerleaders are endorsing here. Good find Neutral.

There were a few posts I saw retweeted that called him a hero. And one that said they didn't condone what he did it, but they understood.

Anyone who thinks he (the Dallas killer) is a hero is a sick motherfucker.

Anyone who understands but doesn't condone probably didn't need much more than a basic psychology class to get there. There's nothing sinister about trying to figure things out.

The recent Trump surge appears to coincide with him laying low for a few days last weekend. The less he is seen or heard, the better he performs.

No, as Dick has been saying, it's about the email. Whether that continues in polling remains to be seen (my guess is it won't, it will recede in impact if not be totally forgotten). But for now it's a pretty straight line as far as the impact.

    Orlando a non-factor?

The list of terrors attacks around the works continues to grow.

And? Trump's clownishness is never more on display than when discussing terrorism and security.

The email was an unquestionably bad event for Hillary. Bad events tend to have a negative effect in polling. The Orlando attack didn't say anything one way or the other about Hillary.
