    That's exactlt why he was picked. He's the safe conservative pick that gives an image of tempering Trump while giving up none of the hardcore conservative values that his followers want to see. Gingrich was too much of a "pirate" like Trump and Christie was a sycophantic lap dog who hugged Obama. ... And no one else wanted the job.
