Good New Yorker piece where Tony Schwartz, who wrote The Art of the Deal, talks about what a sham the whole thing was.

Keep your enemies close: THE PIG has no choice but to give Fatfuck Christie a plum job in his administration -- AG, Treasury or maybe a SCOTUS nod -- or else he'll go rogue and sell his "inside stories" to the media.
Christie is a vengeful fuck and he probably figures he didn't put in all those months of fetching The Pig's Big Macs and guzzling down his rancid jizz for nothing.

And as Gov of NJ, Fatboy probably has access to all sorts of sealed criminal investigations, confidential settlements, quietly quashed stuff like mob connections, abortions, drug charges, paternity complaints, etc etc, that THE PIG really really really does not want to become public.

Dumpf has to give Lardass something big to keep that shit under wraps.

Yet, somehow, I don't think an article in The New Yorker is going to move the needle an inch with the Trump crowd.

It won't. But it might influence the overall media narrative on Trump, as most people in the media world either read the New Yorker or would people to think they do.

But it might with the Bernie Sanders and Gary Johnson crowds. That's the audience. The goal isn't to convert the true Trump believers. It's to keep his ass at 40 percent.
