Theory going around now is that one or more of Trump's kids "wrote" Melania's speech.

 

This is what happens when a major political party campaigns for the highest office in the land on nothing but unrepentant assholery.

And yet it would take him getting caught in bed with a live boy or a dead girl for most Trump supporters to abandon him.

 

This is why the whole controversy is stupid. The very existence of speechwriters means EVERY politician who pays one is an intellectual plagiarist. Hardly any national politician in this day and age is delivering their words and thoughts.

 

Perhaps the plagiarism was done by design. Throw out a shiny object to distract from the train wreck that Trump's people knew was coming.

I don't think Trump's that smart, but there are people in the RNC who are masters at it.
