They're both pretty bad. Trump's kiss probably would've been OK if he'd actually just completed it. In a way, I think Cruz's attempt was worse, and it's funny how he looked like he realized it, too. That said, I don't know why anybody would bring their young children to that convention, which seems to be that girl's sentiment exactly.

Well, I saw a glimpse of a punditchannel and they had a headline "Trump Team Vetting Speech Through Anti-Plagiarism Software."

Which counts as a plus in the minds of the pundits; it counts as SOP for every other speech-giving operation anywhere else in the world.

 

I think he's gonna read off prompter... But he will have moments in which he attempts to ad lib... And one of those ad lib moments could potentially be tomorrow's big headline.
