We had zero fucking business helping to stage that coup, and we have zero fucking business escalating the hostilities there.

The people in Eastern Ukraine feel betrayed by the west and want their own country (Novorossiya). They should be allowed to determine their own course. We won't allow it, of course. "Determining your own course" is only allowed by NATO/USA when it fits OUR course.

Of course, Trump could easily reverse course once in office, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if he did. But as of July 2016 he is no appeaser.
