And, with the new CBS Poll (+1 Trump) factored in, Trump has taken the lead in the RCP Average.

You're gonna drive yourself nuts by Halloween if you keep obsessing on polls, YF. I expect that they will be more volatile than usual because each candidate is unpopular. Just say to yourself it's close and do something else with your time.

Is Trump still "unpopular"? His favorables have been rising. What people once considered unfavorable about him, I think, they now are rationalizing as "not politically correct" or endearing ineloquence.

Hell, maybe he'll be a remarkable president.

A lot of people root for the underdog.

If HRC loses, a big part of the reason will be unlikability, scandal, failure of Dems to run a better candidate, and, perhaps most importantly, this whole heir apparent "her time" aspect of her campaign.

I think he's going to win, too.

Is that her message, though? "It's my time." I've never heard it from her mouth.

Will be interesting to see how Trump hijacks each of the 4 days of the DNC.

This is what I kept hearing before the Iowa Caucuses, as well.

The polls are meaningful in that he was dead and buried a few weeks ago, and he has survived one gaffe after another to get to this point. They are meaningful in that they indicate that a significant - a potentially winning - number of Americans would at least entertain the idea of voting for him. Think about it. More Americans, at this point in time, prefer a President Donald Trump over a President Hillary Clinton. That's simply mind-boggling.
