Why would he bother? His voters don't care.

Obama had to give up all his community organizing.

Bloomberg handed over control to his deputies-- except for big decisions. He still weighed in on those.

Best shape of his career, McCarthy says. He toned up in LA's manliest man gyms.

I hate to break it to you, but a Clinton presidency won't solve your problems.

She might fund mental institutions better than Trump.

I didn't feel like it was dystopian. But the repeated references to "law and order" did make me think of how I'd think of the old west -- like I was waiting for a hardline sheriff to ride into town and hang everybody.

Trump should have just stuck with the idea that he represents change -- something different from what Obama has presented, and what Clinton seems like she will copy and continue for another four years or eight years.

Because that's why I think most people are drawn to Trump -- not because they necessarily agree with, or want, a wholesale rise in KKK-like beliefs or a lot of hardline deportation of everybody, etc. They just want something different from what's happened lately. And somebody talking and acting tough with ISIS and terrorism in general (if that would, in fact, happen under him) would be appreciated as well.
