If Joe Biden had run with Michelle Obama as his VP
they would win by a landslide. Hell if it was a the other way around
they might even win by more.

    Depends.

To people who shit their pants every time they hear the "R" nation: "OMG! OMG! OMG!"

To people who figure, hey, maybe it wouldn't be so awful if these nations actually worked together, it would come off as a positive.

    I'm impressed.

Stephanie Rawlings-Blake doesn't look like she's been on a four-day morphine drip like she did when her city was on fire.

If it was just Russia, you might be right. But Putin is not an appealing figure to most people.

The Russia thing seems like it has a little bit of legs. Maybe a half a point for a week, maybe a few points for a month, who knows.

There isn't going to be a clear knockout moment, no matter how badly the narrative writers will want to name one after the fact.

This incident certainly highlights the need for secure servers and what can go wrong if
you don't have them. I have a feeling we've not seen the last of the documents. Would not surprise me to see some of the personal e-mails that supposedly were erased by Hillary show
    up.

Ben Rhodes is working his media contacts to create an echo chamber. "The Russians did it" has
shades of " an anti muhamid movie was the cause of Benghazi."

Perhaps. I'm sure all those Cyrillic names ended up in the metadata by accident.

Old Conventional Wisdom: Trump doesn't know any actors on the international stage. His idea of foreign policy experience is holding the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow, and appearing n the same episode of 60 Minutes as Putin -- though in separate segments.

New Conventional Wisdom: Trump has massive ties to Russia and Putin, and Putin is working on his behalf to get him elected.

Well, the American voter doesn't want to get into the sausage-making of policy, so flags serve as a good heuristic that illustrates collective ignorance.
