So now we get two days of the press arguing with Trump about what he said over the emails.

Which means two days of the emails being in the news cycle.

Which is a win for him. He may be an idiot, but Manafort isn't.

In what CLOWN SHOW world does the Republican nominee for President of the United States not know who his opponent's running mate is-- 5 days after it became public who that person was?

The media doesn't have to argue. The whole fucking thing is on video. If Trump wants to argue with videos of himself, I don't think that's winning the news cycle. Incidentally, inciting others to hack a private server, yours, mine, anyone's, is a black letter violation of federal law. Little known, seldom if ever enforced law, but it's in the US Code.

 

Maybe it's just me, but hearing the soundbite and his tone and inflection, I really think he was trying to be glib. Trump has a lot of snark in him when he gets on a roll.

 

If I'm head of the CIA, I don't hear snark. They tend to be low on snark over in the big buildings off the Parkway.

I resume my point. If the US intelligence community decides to fuck Trump, fucked he will be. They're already leaking their investigation of the hack. Wait'll they find out something juicy.

 

It's not like that community has anything more important to concern itself with.

Hell, thanks to Hillary's, at best, galactic incompetence in handling classified material, the Russians were involved long before Trump opened his mouth.
